Well, the other night I was scrolling through my news feed and I came across this video of this black guy ranting about sex dolls. I was like, “Wow, what is this?” I clicked on it and was totally blown away.
He was going off about how these dolls are a complete representation of the objectification of women and how men are objectifying them even more with these dolls. I mean, the guy had a point, you know?
He was saying that it’s completely wrong and degrading for men to have these sex dolls. He said something like, “These sex dolls are just emulating what a lot of men who don’t know how to treat a woman do, and it’s not cool.”
So I watched the whole video and got to thinking about it. I tended to agree with him. It was totally accurate when he said that the sex dolls are contributing greatly to the objectification of women and objectifying relationships.
And the worst part is that some people actually love these dolls. Like, to a point where I’ve heard some people’s stories about how they keep their doll at home and sleep with it every night or something. It’s like, c’mon!
It just doesn’t feel right to me. I don’t think it’s right for one gender to be objectified and treated as an object. It’s a situation that no gender should be in. No one should ever be seen as an object and used for pleasure. It doesn’t make sense.
Plus, to me it just seems like a silly way to spend your time and money. I mean, why get a sex doll when you can get out there and meet someone? I believe it’s very important to connect with other humans and get to know them. A doll can’t do that for you, unfortunately.
I can totally understand why the guy was ranting about this. I mean, it does need to be addressed. I wouldn’t want to be disrespected or objectified in any way either. We should strive to have relationships based on a mutual respect and understanding.
It was like, the guy made some valid points about all these things, you know? I mean, it’s all a bit much when you think about it. I totally get his point of view and I really don’t think it’s right for anyone to be seen and treated as an object for someone else’s pleasure.
There can be no denying that sexual objectification is on the rise and that sex dolls are playing a large part in that. It’s really messed up when you think about it, and it takes a lot away from life in general. I mean, the guy was right about how these objects can really degrade society.
It’s a slippery slope, this trend of objectifying humans. When you start objectifying someone, it becomes normalised, and before you know it, people are treating others as objects as if it were the norm. It’s like, this type of thing just promotes depersonalisation.
Plus, we can’t forget about the safety aspect of it all. Like, a sex doll provides no protection or defense against the user’s physical or mental health in any way. So, while sex dolls may provide a way for someone to fulfill a need, they come with risks and it’s just not worth it in the end.
From what I’ve seen and read, it seems like a lot of us still don’t understand the dangers and consequences associated with using sex dolls. It just seems like a really bad idea to me, sex toys honestly.
I really think we all need to take a step back and think about why these sex doll trends are so popular and how it affects our society. We should really be thinking about how society can benefit from more meaningful relationships, because objectifying relationships are anything but meaningful.
It’s important to talk about these things, and it’s great that people like this black guy are speaking out about it. He actually made a great point about how it is really deceiving to think that these sex dolls will ever replace true relationships. They can’t really provide any kind of emotional connection that real relationships can.
We also can’t forget about the influence that the media has had in promoting this objectification trend. When you think about it, a lot of the media is saturated with objectification and sexualised images. This can definitely have an influence on the way people perceive relationships and intimacy.
It’s also worth keeping in mind that these sex dolls don’t come cheap and can cost thousands of dollars. I doubt that very many people need to be spending that kind of money on something like this. We should really be encouraging people to spend their cash in more meaningful ways.
I think it’s safe to say that sex dolls are really not worth it in the long run. They don’t provide any real connection or strength have no way to provide pleasure or satisfaction in any meaningful way. In the end, they are not going to replace real people.
